Resin Bond Grinding Operator

This position is responsible for final manual machining and/or grinding of the product. This will include tasks such as turning, milling, drilling, grinding and polishing. This position is entry-level, full-time, with opportunities for overtime.

SUMMARY:  As a Resin Bond Grinding Operator at Continental Diamond Tool, you will responsible for operating and maintaining resin bond grinding machines to produce high-quality precision parts.  This will include tasks such as turning, drilling, grinding and polishing.  This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

DUTIES:

  • Operate resin bond grinding machines to grind and finish precision parts according to specifications.

  • Set up and adjust grinding machines, including selecting and installing grinding wheels and adjusting machine settings.

  • Required to read, understand, and follow work orders and engineering drawings.

  • Ability to inspect the product using scales, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, comparators and other equipment as needed.

  • Ability to select the proper work holding and tooling needed for optimum productivity.

  • Ability to recognize, trouble shoot and correct noncompliant products

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations, and properly using and maintaining PPE.
